The American Conservation Coalition is proud to announce its acquisition of 41 College Republican state chairpeople for our Clean Energy Coalition letter. By signing on to the Coalition, these young leaders are sending a message to the GOP and others in leadership that they want energy and the environment to be a priority moving forward. The 41 signers are listed below, and each individual is leading the charge in their state to make clean energy a priority.
ACC National Field Director Tex Fischer said: “The support this coalition has received sends a clear signal: there is a serious movement within the Republican Party to take action on the environment. No meaningful or effective change will happen without young conservative voices and perspectives, and having 41 state federation chairs express their support for conservative policy action on the environment is another step toward real change.”
ACC is proud to partner with these next generation leaders to make clean energy a priority for the GOP in the future. This Coalition is the first of its kind, and is a solid indicator that young conservatives will no longer accept inaction on important environmental issues. ACC looks forward to the progress that will be made through these and other efforts to prioritize energy and the environment as the party moves forward.
